On last Tuesday night the Starkville troop of Boy Scouts held its monthly council .meeting. There was a large attendence, and some important business was trans acted. The Scouts have been do ing some fine patriotic work, and respond willingly to all calls for aid, At present, they are looking forward to a two—weeks carapj in the near future. There are over thirty registered Scouts. Mr, Randle Carpenter, who has for the past year lived at West Point as manager of the ice plant has returned to Starkville and ac cepted his old position at the A & M College.
