Will Gillon, pastor LaBelle Place Baptist church in Memphis will begin a protracted meeting at the Baptist church next Sunday. Mr. Gillon was once a resident ot' our county, spending much of his boyhood days here. His re ligious zeal and faithful work has placed him in the front rank as a preacher, anrl you will be edified if you attend this series of meet ings. _ Mrs. Rosa Price and children, Master T. J. and Miss Emma Lou, returned home last week from a several weeks’ visit to Clarksdale and Memphis. Charley T. Robinson for Al derman-at-Large. In this issue of The Iteanzer, we announce Mr. C. T. Robinson as a candidate for Alderman of the City-at-Large for the city of Water Valley. We believe Mr. Robinson will make the city a good official for the following reasons: He is a steady, good and prompt business man. He is good about attending to his own business, and it stands to reason he will be careful in attending to the business that will be in trusted to him by the people. While he is economical, he is not miserly, and would not be ex travagant in his official notions, and he is a clever and capable man, and one of our citys’ best citizens.
