Hubbard left Sunday morning for Memphis to spend the coming winter with her daugh ter, Mrs. J. W. Canterberry. Little Miss Dovie Smithart re turned home last Sunday from Memphis where she had been for several weeks with relatives and friends. Mr, N. S. Sheriff and Mrs E. H. Simith left last Sunday night for Gulf port to attend the Mississippi State Shrift's’ Association, which was in session Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Little Miss Oma Clement, of Velma, spent a few days’ in our city last week the guest of Miss Veta Thornton. The Baraca Bible Class of the First Methodist Church Sunday School holds the second entertain ment this (Wednesday) evening at the parsonage. There will be a contest among the members on questions taken from the past quar ter's lessons, after which music and other features of entertain ment will be enjoyed. On next Sunday the Library will be in stalled, and all persons desiring to contribute books, are asked to be present with them. Mr. and Mrs. G. E. McCracken and little son and daughter, of Huntington, Ark., returned home Monday after a severrl days’ visit to the the family of Mi. J.
