The location of the place renders it admira
bly adapted for a market garden for which pur
pose I have cultivated. The place is also well
situated for dairy purposes.
Terms liberal, and one or two negroes will
be taken in part payment.

To all persons interested m the lands, ten
ements and hereditaments of Martha
McElwee late of said county deceased.
IN the matter of the application of Elvy Mc
Elwee, Administratrix of Martha McElwee,
deceased, for an order to sell the following
Town lots, situated, lying and being in Yazoo
City, and known and designated on the nap of
said town as lots Nos. twenty-eight and twenty-nine,
for the purpose of a division between
the distributees of said estate.
It is therefore ordered by the Court, that ci
tation issue, directed to Jane George and Evans
George, her husbaud, and to John McElwee,
non residents of this State, to be and appear
at the March Term 1854 of this Court, then and
there to shew cause if any they have or can,
why an order should not bo granted ibr the sale
of the above described town lots, inaccordance
with the prayer of slid applicant.
And it is further ordered by the Court, that
publication "f this citation be made in the Ya
zoo Detnocrdt for the space of sixty day-.

of Yazoo county, State of Mississippi,
made at the January Term thereof, A. D. 1854,
the undersigned, as Guardian of Clarence
Swartwout, a minor, will on the 3rd day of
April next, between the usual hours of sal,
prescribed by law, proceed to sell before the
Guurt House door of Yazoo county, at public
auction, to the highest bidder or bidders, on a
credit of twelve months from the day of sale,
the following described lands belonging to
said minor, and situated in Yazoo County, to
wit : an undivided half interest in the west-half
of south-west quarter of Section 1 . all of Sec
tion 2 north-half of Section 11 north-west
quarter of Section 12, all in Township 12,

IN the matter of the application of James
Tharp, Administrator of C. J. Blackmail,
deceased, foran order of citation to all persons
interested in the lmds, tenements and heredi
taments of said deceased to appear at the Feb
ruary Term 1854, of this court, and show cause
if any they have or can, why an order should
not be granted for the sale of the following
lands, (it having been represented that the per
sonal property belonging to said decedent! es
tate is insufficient to pay his debts) to-wit:
The south-west quarter of Section 5, Township
11, RangeS west, also a portion of land br-
sri lining at south-east of north-east Qtsarter of
north-east quarter. (40 acre piece") m Section
5, Township 11, Range 2 west, and run north
14,00 chains to public road leading to Yh zoo
City thence in a southwestern direction along

Yazoo, State of Mississippi. It is thereupon
ordered by the court, that publication of cita
tion directed to all persons interested in the
above described lands, be made hi thj Yazoo
Democrat for the space of thirty days, and by
posting the same in three or more public pla
ces in said county, to be and appear at the Feb
ruary Term 1-54, of this court, then and there
to shew cause ii any they have or can, why an
order should not he granted for the sale of the
lands aforesaid to pay debts of said dedent.

Administrators, as aforesaid, it was thereupon
ordered that citation issue to Wm. H. Bell, as

W. Massey, Andrew C. Saunders, to Yazoo
County, and to Charles Fuller, Elizabeth Burt,
and E M. Burt, her husband, Clarissa Max
well, and E. A. Maxwell, her husband, and
George Fisher, to Attala County, to Andrew
Oldham to Carroll Ccunty, and that publication
of said citation be made in the Yazoo Democrat
for the space of thirty days, as to Lucinda
Smith, and Smith, her husband, Sarah Mc
Coy, Margaret Whittington, ano Whittimr-
ton, her husband. James McCoy, Archibald
McCoy, Nancy McCoy, McCoy, whose res
idences are unknown, and to all others the un
known and non-resident heirs and distributees
to said Estate to be arid appear at the March
Term, 1854 of this Court, then and there to
show cause if any they have or can, why a fi
nal settlement of the account and surrender of

cause, if any they have or can why an order
should uot be made for the sale of the above de
