TAX SALE No. 21 SUE Of DELIIQBEOI LANDS 4 —POR— UNPAID TAXES —AND— ASSESSMENTS. OFFICE OF THE CITY COTjEECTOR, JERSEY CITY, N. J., JUNE 25, 1858. Notice is hereby given that the subscriber, the City Collector of Jersey «ty New Jer .ey, pursuant to the statute tn such case made and provided and under direction of the Board of Finance of such City, will expose for sale and sell at public auction to the higli.st TUESDAY, the 26th day of July, A. D, eighteen hundred and ninety-eight at one o’clock In the afternoon of that day, at the Assembly Chamber in the City lts.ll In said city, certain lots, tracts and parcels of land and real estate, situated in. the Second Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Wards of Jersey City, upon which either taxes Have ,been levied or assessments have been levied and assessed after the thirtieth day of March A D 1886, or both, and which have remained unpaid for the space of two years from and after the time when due and payable. This sale is made under the provisions of an act entitled “An Act concerning the settle ment and collection of arrearages of unpaid taxes, assessments and water rates or water rents In cities of this State, and imposing and levying a tax assessment and lien in lieu and In stead of such arrearages and to enforce the payment thereof and to provide for the sale or lands subjected to further taxation and assessment,” passed March 30th, 1SS6, and the various supplements thereto and acts amendatory thereof. Further particulars of the lands to be sold may be obtained at the office of the City Col lector, City Hall, Jersey City, on any week day prior to the day of the sale, between the hours of 9 A. M. and 4 P. M„ except Saturdays and on Saturday between 9 A.
