The sixteenth annual convention of
the Woman's Christian Temperance
Union of Washington county was held
at New Matamoras, June 13 and i4.
Ti.e convention was one of tho most
profitable held. Special credit is due
the President Miss Julia Rea, of New
port, for its success.
Reports were heard from the union
proving good woik done ana progress
made. Excellent addresses were made
talks given and papers read.
The convention unanimously elected
