Rev. David A. Doan of Caldwell will present the sermon to the graduat ing class. Junior-Senior banquet The junior-senior banquet was served by the W. S. C. S. of the Methodist church at the high school Saturday evening, April 6. After the banquet the group attended a show at Marietta. Reported Seriously Ill Mrs. J. H. Shafer of route one is in a critical condition in University hospital, Columbus, according to re ports received here. Horton. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Moore have purchased a property from Albert Finney on Pin Hook, known as the Alva Wharton place and they will move there. Mrs. Elizabeth Frye will move into the home vacated by Mr. and Mrs. Moore. Mrs. Harriett Morgan was hon ored on her birthday recently with a card shower. She was also visited by Mrs. Sam Palmer of Gettysburg, who is a guest in the James Palmer home. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sandies and daughter, Rebecca, visiting the lat ter’s mother in Coshocton. Unusual interest is being shown in the Intermediate Fellowship class and they are rapidly working to ward the future leaders of the church. On Sunday, April 14, the fourth quarterly conference will be held. A pot luck dinner is being planned fol lowing the business meeting. Easter communion services will be observed Thursday evening, April 18 at 7:30 o’clock. Easter Sunday morn ing, baptismal services will be held. Marvin Hannahs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Hannahs, has received his discharge from the U. S. Navy and is now at the home of his par ents.
