Miss Juanita Gamble, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Gamble, 1328 Beckett Ave, Cam bridge and Mr. Andrew Kotoff, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Ko toff, Cumberland route 3, were united in marriage on March 30, this year at Greenup, Kentucky. County and covers the Caldwell business zone like the sunshine. R. B. Allen, who united Miss Gamble’s brother, William L. Allen and the former Audrey Morgan at the same time. For her wedding the bride was attired in a frock of aqua and black with black accessories. Her corsage was of white gardenias. Mrs. Kotoff attended Cambridge high school, and is employed at Cambrige Glass Co. Mr. Kotoff at tended Cumberland high school and upon his discharge from the service became associated with his father in farming. The newlyweds are temporarily living with the bride’s parents. Friends extend best wishes to them. Club Meets The Yoker Valley Mixers 4-H club met August 6, at the high school with 40 in attendance. Busi ness was conducted by the Presi dent, Janice Waller. Reports were made of the Junior leadership meeting and plans dis cussed concerning the county fair, the State fair and the annual club judging of projects, Wed, August 14. Following a recreational period refreshments were served by Ruth Dudley, Le Roy Robertson, Peggy Bailey and Imogene Yoho. At Camp 4-H club members accompanied by counselor, Margaret Bay and junior leaders, Janice Waller and Joan Moore, left Thursday for camp at Oglebay Park, Wheeling. Among the campers were: Agnes Craft, Mildred Muhlbach, Betty Ghrist and Glenna Hayes. Family Reunion The 16th annual Hayes reunion will be held on Sunday, August 25, at the Marietta fairgrounds. Clark, is home now to run the farm. Tom Gildow of Crums Ridge a caller at Middleburg Sunday. Dexter City Dexter City, Aug. 14—Mrs. J. O. Miller received word Monday that her son, Bruce, was a patient at a hospital in Berea, where he under went an emergency operation Sun day night. Mrs. Clayton Stringer who is a patient at Good Samaritan hospital in Zanesville is improving. Her hus band and parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. R. Blake visited her over the wek end. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Vickers of Huntington, W. Va., spent Tuesday and Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hayes. Mrs. Elmira Webebr has returned to her home after spending a two weeks visit with her son, Edmund of Marietta. Mrs. Wallace Blake, sori, Billy, went to Athens, Friday, where Mr. Blake has finished a special course at Ohio University. He returned to his home with them. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Vaughn and daughter, Mary Margaret, of Can ton, have spent the week visiting relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hayes spent last Sunday at the Hesson Reunion held on the fairgrounds near Cald well. Shenandoah Trail Shenandoah Trail, Aug. 14 Both the Drake and Groves reun ion were held at Mt. Zion Sunday with many attending each group. Those attending from the greatest distance were Mr. and Mrs. Frank W. Neill and children from Los Angeles, California. Lucy Wheeler, Mary Groves and Dorothy Fish returned home last Thursday from Camp Oglebay, W. Va., where they went as 4-H girls. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Russell of Canton were weekend visitors at Alice Knight’s. Farm Bureau Council No. 1 held its regular monhtly meeting at E. O. Bond’s, Thursday evening, with 24 present. After discussing many timely topics, lunch was served and all retired home at a late hour. William Bond and family and G. W. Ulrich are leaving today for a ten day visit with relatives in Iowa. The Evangelistic services at the Clark’s chapel are largely attended and conversions are made. Frank W. Neill and family left for their home in Los Angeles, Calif., Tuesday, after a month’s visit here with relatives, Mrp. Neill was formerly Lulu Graham of the Dumfertile comunity, and this was her first return visit in 24 years. The class having the most attend ance was to be entertained by the other class. The “Victory” class with Doris Parks, teacher, won, and the “Willing Workers” class with Charles “Chad” Nichols, as the teacher, had a weiner roast Thursday, August 8, at the farm of Willis Ralph, with the two classes and their parents and friends, pre sent. Those of the “Victory” class: Pat Ruth and Patsy Nichols, Glenn, Lester, Erleane, Warner and Reu ben Stewart, Delbert, Richard, and Roger Anderson, Amos, Joe, Noah, and David Armstrong, Rolland Ralph, Dwain Lowe. Those unable to attend were: Judy Walters, Bar bara Pickenpaugh, Larry, Ruth and Joann Harmon, and Violet Teeters.
