Page News 11:10 Weather 11:15 King's Shnwrasp 11:30 Tonight Annual Swiss Festival Al Sugarcreek, Oct. 1-2 Contincir. hie entertainment from noon to midnight each day is promised to visitors at the second annual Ohio Swiss Festi val in Sugarcreek, Oct. 1 and 2. Inspired by the success of last year's festival that attracted many thousands to the "Little Switzerland of Ohio" town and merited feature stories in Amer ican and European publications, the sponsors have planned a more spectacular show this year. Highlighting the two day fun fest will be free street dancing, sehwing-fests or Swiss wrestling matches, a beauty contest, an amateur contest, and a big parade. Twenty-six cheese fac tories in the area will have stands where famous Ohio Swiss Cheese may be purchcased in any size cuts from sandwiches to 2Q0-lb wheels. Some of the nation's best Swiss musical groups will fur nish music for the dances and concerts. Several unique bands will take part in the parade on Saturday afternoon at 2:30. w 6EE! Mrs. B. E. Hale received word that her nephew, John Mugragr ol Galva, Illinois, passed away on Sept. 15. Boyd Swank of Canton, visited over the weekend at the home of his parents, Mi and Mrs. B. E. Hale. Mr and Mrs. Emmet Capling cr and daughter, Linda and Mrs. Clarence Chandler and daugh ter, Linda of Beverly visited one day last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ard Chandler. Mr. and Mrs. John Craig and son, Johnny and Howard Craig were also visitors recently at the Chandler home. Elmer Groves is a patient in St. Joseph hospital in Parkers burg, W. Va. Final services and burial was at Akron where she had lived for several years. She was the former Miss Essie Mc Carty and was born at Sarahs ville and atttended school here. A/lc and Mrs. Gene Graham have been transferred from Topeka, Kansas to Lincoln, Neb., where he will be stationed. Mrs. Graham is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Guiler of tliis place.
