TWO NEW BUILDINGS GO UP FOR FAIR New Lexington The walls are up on the new 4-H—FFA building at the fairgrounds, and the roof will be started yet thi week, the Perry county fail board announced this week. The New Lexington Jaycees have promised to help put on the roof, as well as help install a roof on the old grandstand foundation for use by commercial displays. The fair which will be Aug. 1 thru 4, will see other improve ments this year. A new and per manent power supply, complete with transformers, is being in stalled, with the cooperation ot the Ohio Power Co. THE JOURNAL, CALDWELL, OHIO Answer Local Fire Call Caldwell Volunteer Fire Department Chief Frank Tarleton and Howard J. Taylor are pictured above as they extinguish a blaze in a car owned by Taylor. The incident occurred, accord ing to Chief Tarleton. as the result of a lighted cigarette. The three Caldwell trucks and 1U of the 20 man department reported to the fire which damaged the seats and upholstery of the ve hicle. JUNIOR CAMPERS Due to a heavy registration at Round Lake Christian camp, the Junior campers from the Caldwell church will not go until the week of July 15-21, accord ing to Ira J. Brandon, who ser ved as dean of the camp last week.
