Yarnall, 61, formerly of Noble county, died late Satur day night at the home of his brother, Harry, of Massillon, fol lowing an illness of several years. Born Feb. 11, 1895, in Dexter City, he was a son of Herbert and Viola Longfellow Yarnall and was a member of the Mas sillon chapter of the DAV. Mr. Yarnall is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Belva Velosky of Belle Valley and Mrs. Lila Elber ing of Dayton, Ky. His wife, the former Ruby Steele, died several years ago. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 2:30 p. m. at the Mary Reed Memorial Methodist church at Crooked Tree. Rev. Arthur Velosky officiated. Burial was made in the church cemetery. The McVay funeral home in Dexter City was in charge of arrangements. Andy Yaremko Andy Yaremko, 75, of Coal Ridge, died Saturday morning in a Cambridge hospital, where he had been ?. patient a short time. Born March 29, 1881 in Austria, he was the son of Theodore and Ann Black Yaremko and came to the United States a number of years ago. Survivors include four daugh ters, Mrs. Anna Bovit and Mrs. Pauline Lagorda both of Cleve land Mro. Catherine Kachavee of the Ava community and Mrs. Mary Crum of North street a son, Mike of the home a brother, James of Kansas City. Services were held Tuesday at 10:00 a. m. from the McVay fu neral home with Rev. Fr. Simon Fetzko officiating. Burial was made in the Mt. Calvary ceme tery. Alexander Robertson Alexander (Sandy) Robertson, 74, of Cambridge, died in the Guernsey Memorial hospital, Fri day at 4:45 p. m. following a stroke he suffered last week. Born Sept 25, 1881, in Green ock, Scotland, he was the son of William and Jean Eastoj Robertson. He came to America in 1900. He is survived by three daugh ters two sons, including William Robertson of Caldwell a brother two sisters seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services were held Monday at 2:00 p. m. from the residence in Cambridge. Burial was madr in the Northwood cemetery with the McCracken funeral home in charge of funeral arrangements. iss Helen Beatrice Pekari, 58, formerly ul Noble county, died Tuesday at her home in Miami, Florida. Born Feb. 25, 1898 in Noble county, she was a daughter of John and Genevieve Malone Pekari. Survivors include six sisters one brother and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock from St. Mary's Catholic church in Temperanceville with Rev. Fr. Donald Schwendemen officiating. Burial was made in Beaver ceme tery. The Campbell funeral home was in charge of arrangements. She was born in Czechoslova kia, March 3, 1879, and came to this country 60 years ago. She was a member of St. Philomena Catholic church in Caldwell. Surviving are two sons, John Shondrick of Florence Addition and George of Canton a daugh ter, Mrs. Mary Adams of St. Clair, Pa. 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren a sis ter, Mrs. Julia Meterko, of Uhrichsville. Her husband, Joseph, died seven years ago. The body was removed to the Estadt funeral home in Caldwell where it was prepared for burial. Requiem high mass was conduct ed Tuesday at 9:00 a. m. at St. Philomena Catholic church in Caldwell. Rev. Fr. S. J. Pekalla officiated. Burial was made in the Pleasant City cemetery. .ilfie B. Call Mrs. Lillie Bell Call, 76, of Derwent, died at 4:30 p. m. Fri day in the Guernsey Memorial hospital following an illness of four weeks. Born April 6, 1880 in Guern sey county, she was a daughter of Lemuel and Harriette Moore Bonom. Her husband, Cory L. Call, died in 1949. Surviving are two daughters a son a brother, O. I. Bonom of Pleasant City route 2 three sis ters, including Mrs. Mary Wal ers of Caldwell seven grand children and five great-grand children. A son, a daughter and three brothers are deceased. Funeral services were held on Monday at 1:30 p. m. at the Her lan-McGaughy funeral home with additional services at 2:00 m. at Harmony Christian church with Rev. George Wraith officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery. kelson A. Clark Nelson A. Clark, 75, brother of John Clark, Belle Valley, died Monday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Schlosser, Boden. Surviving are the daughter his brother and a sister, Mrs. Sarah Hutchinson of Canton. The body was removed to the Scott funeral home in Cam bridge where services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock with Rev. Howdy House in charge. Interment will be made in Village View cemetery, Sarahsville. He was married in 1901 to Florence Pearl Butler, who died in 1931. SAiss Belvo Myers Miss Belva Myers, 64, of Bel aire, formerly of Caldwell, died at her home Monday afternoon following an illness of four years. Born in Noble county, she was the daughter of Scott and Jen nie Danford Myers. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Ray Lucus, with whom she resided, and a cousin, Mrs. Ada Franklin of Caldwell. Graveside services were held Thursday at the Keithtown cemetery. Mrs. Laura Larrick Friends in the Mt. Zion com munity have been notified of the death of Mrs. Laura Larrick, a former resident, which occurred at her home Saturday night in St. Petersburg, Florida. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Springfield with burial at Ferncliff cemetery in that city. Mrs. Larrick leaves a son, George, of Washington, D. C. Her husband, B. F. Larrick, preceded her in death. Circle No. 4, W.S.C.S., Enjoys Picnic June 26 Circle Four, W.S.C.S. of the First Methodist church enjoyed a picnic Tuesday evening, June 26. at the home of Natalie Da hood on North street with Beverly Ralston serving as com panion hostesses. A short busines meeting was held with the president, Ruth Winberg, in charge. Plans were made to hold a weiner roast at the July meeting. Great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Will Phillis, of Coal Run, Dan Slater, of Coal Run, and Bill Reed, of Caldwell. !hurch Of Christ Missionary Society Molds June Meeting The Women's Missionary So ciety of the First Church of Christ met Tuesday evening in the church basement with Mrs. Gerald Hayes, Mrs. Gerald Lovett and Miss Mabel Gordon serving as hostesses. The meeting opened with group singing, followed by the devotional service with Janice Brandon leading. Lillian Har kins led in prayer and a short playlet "These Gifts We Bring" was presented by Norma Miller and Juanita Ramsey, followed by prayer by Laura Ramsey. A short business meeting was held with the president, Susa belle McVay, in charge. "Italy"' was the topic for the evening with interesting articles on that subject being given by Irene Devolld and Hattie Van Fleet. Geraldine Martin, Lavona Whitcomb and Faye Hayes favor ed with a hymn. The meeting closed with the benediction. Following the meeting band ages were rolled and infant clothes were cut out to be made by the members and then sent to missionaries. Good Neighbors Club Meets In Boyd Home The Good Ni l^hbors club of Sharon met recently in the home of Belle Boyd for an all day meeting. A delicious lunch was served at noon followed by a short business session in the afternoon. Contests were enjoyed with Laura Ramsey receiving the guessing prize Ruth Marquis, Pauline Haga and Mayme Parks, the guest prizes and Juamta Ramsey, the club prize. Members present were Effie Ramsey, Doris Ramsey, Roberta Bigley, Juanita Ramsey, Lois Blake, Jean Ramsey, Floy Par rish, Phenia Bigley, Martene Spriggs, Ruth Wells and the host ess. Guests were Laura Ramsey, Pauline Haga, Ruth Marquis and Mayme Parks. RETURN HOME Mr. and Mrs. Howard Tarleton, of Caldwell, and Mr. and Mrs Joe Wood of Parkersburg, W Va., returned to their respective homes Sunday evening after vacationing in Virginia. Places of interest they visited included the Skyline Drive, Williamsburg Natural Bridge and White Sul phur Springs. Woman's Bible Class The Woman's Bible class of the First Methodist church will meet Thursday evening, July 5 at 7:30 o'clock in the church din ng room. Hostesses will be Allie Archer, Laura Tarleton, Alta Davis and Anna Jordan. The devotional topic will be "What Will Thou Have Me To Do" with Elizabeth Ball as the leader. The program will be in charge of Winnie Johnson. Legion Auxiliary The Caldwell American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 252 will meet Wednesday evening, July 11 at 8:00 o'clock in the legion hall on Main street. Installation of of ficers will be held with Mary Richcreek serving as the install ing officers. All members are urged to attend. Carlisle Grange Carlisle Grange No. 2344 will meet on Thursday, June 28 at 8:00 p. m. in the grange hall with worthy master, Rayner Schehl in charge. Third and fourth degrees will be conferred on a class of candidates. Follow ing the business meeting, a cov ered dish dinner will be served. All officers and members are urged to be present.
