These problems all have solutions with a wide area of application that range from tile in hill side seeps, sodwaterways where excessive runoff water collects, to the use of both tile and open ditch drain age on bottomland. Removal" of excess water has several bene fits. It allows the soil to dry faster and to warm up more quickly in the springtime. It gives some assurance that.you can plow and till the soil without becoming .-tuck in boggy areas of the field. R. Atkinson, persons living in Noble county have until Monday, March 31, to secure new trailer licenses or they will be subject to penalty. The tax levied for a one year period amounts to $18.00 and if not paid before the March 31 deadline, one dollar a day for each continuing day of nonpay ment to a maximum of $25.00 shall be imposed which shall be collected in addition to the tax. A total of 28 house trailers were registered with the county auditor last year. To date, there have been five registrations, Auditor Atkinson said.
