God s plan is that He will have a people for Himself who will be in fellowship with Him and will be qualified to reign with Christ. Such a people must be blameless, unreproveable. So, through the Gospel message, He calls individuals to Himself then, through the work of salvation. He carries out His purpose so that those individuals will be ^blameless, unreproveable, "not waving spot or wrinkle, or any such thing but that it should be holy and without blame" (Ephes ians 5:27). The basis for the Christian's assurance that this work which has been started in his life will be brought to com pletion is the faithfulness of God (I Corinthians 1:9). New Mental Health Fa cilities Ohio set,,an all time record for building mental hospitals, penal in stitutions and corrective fa cilities to combat juvenile delinquenry s A Program for Education Fi/st to set up o essence of the Gospel is that God has committed Himself to do certain things if the individual responds to the invitation pres ented through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Along with the faithfulness of God the Father is that of God the Son, Jesus Christ—"He is able also to save them to the uttermost (com pletely) that some unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intersection for them" (He brews 7:25). God "is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy" (Jude 24). The truth of our text along with Romans 8:18 and 29 "We know that all things work to gether for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. For who He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be con formed to the image of His Son." helps us to understand why God permits the Christian, many times, to experience suffering and temptations. Not only do the trials test one to demonstrate the reality of his salvation (there are many counterfeits and trials, or testings help us to distinguish the true from the false), but those experiences also are intended by God to remove the dross from the lives of His people, and that they might be partakers of His holiness and bear the fruit of righteousness (I Peter 1:6, Hebrews 12:5-11). These truths should cause us "in everything to give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ concerning you" (I Thes salonians 5:18), and to "do all things without murmurings and disputings" (Philippians 2:14, read also verses 12-16).
