THURSDAY, MAY 16, 1940 Two large Blue Racer snakes were killed Monday afternoon by Kenneth Dearth of Orange tovmship, while he was plowing on the farm of his father, W. S. Bluff ton college in 1931, now football coach at Marion Harding High schopl, last week received an award from the Marion Chamber of .Copuperce as the young man who has done the most during the past year to direct (he interest of Marion youths into the right channels,. Fire Chief T. J. McFarland pre sented a key to Williams, emblematic of the honor bestowed upon him. In his presentation, the fire chief said the Bluffton graduate was a leader in every sense of the word by producing the first unbeaten foot ball team in Marion Harding’s his tory.
