S. of Bethesda chapel will hold their meet ing in the home of Rev. and Mrs. Kauffman on Wednesday afternoon. A number of people from Mt. Cory attended the funeral of Peter Mark ley of Beaumont, Texas, which was held at the Clymer church on Sat urday afternoon. Mr. Markley was a former resident of Mt. Cory. Mrs. Charles White and daughters Maralyn and Alice and Mrs. J. J. White spent the week-end in Linden, Mich., in the home of Mrs. Gussie rocker. David Christian, Mrs. J. L. Law rence and Mr. and Mrs. James Jen nings and children of Paducah, Ky., were week end guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Fields and family. Mr. and Mrs. G’en Lanning of Mansfield and Miss Bessie Gressley of Findlay called on Mr. and Mrs. M. D. King Saturday evening. Howard Seitz called on his aunt Mrs. Larena Guin Saturday after noon.
