Dr. and Mrs. Donavin Baumgart ner and family of Cleveland are visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Baumgartner and Dr. and Mrs. J. S. Steiner. Mrs. Kenneth Newland and two daughters of Columbia, Mo., are visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Trippiehorn of South Main street. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Newman of Washington, D. C., are spending a week at the home of Mrs. Newman’s sister, Mrs. Jesse Bracy and family of South Lawn avenue. Dr. and Mrs. Webster Radebaugh of Detroit and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Radebaugh of Bellevue spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Augsburger south of town. Mr. and Mrs. B. D. Morgan and family of Middletown and Mrs. Wm. Unruh, of the First Mennonite churoh, returned Fri day from Bethel college commence ment exercises at Newton, Kansas. Their daughter Miss Mildred Unruh, who graduated from Bethel college, re turned to Bluffton also and will live with her parents here for the sum mer. Mr. Shook came the latter part of the week and Mrs. Shook and daughter and her sister Joan accompanied him back to Detroit. Joan will spend 10 days with her sister. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Todd and dau ghter Marjean visited at the home of their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Huttenlocher in Cleveland over the weekend. They also visited their son Gareth who is staying at the Hutten locher residence. They were accom panied by Mr. and Mrs. A .T. Worth ington of this place who visited at the home of their daughter Mr and Mrs. Ralph Locher of Cleveland. Although the seminary has not been in operation for a number of years, regular meet ings to administer business affairs of the institution are held by the board of trustees. Announcement Party Announcement of the coming wed ding of Mrs. Grace Cox, principal of the Bluffton grade school, and A. J. B. Longsdorf, superintendent of the Bluffton public schools, was made at a dinner party held at the Walnut Grill last Thursday night. Mrs. Cox and her mother, Mrs. W. D. Keel were hostesses. The dining room was decorated with pink and white peonies and candles with the flowers arranged in a serpentine fashion. The an nouncements, revealing Friday as the date of the wedding, were con cealed in the flowers. Following the dinner a party was enjoyed at the Star theatre.
