Friends and relatives from this
place were in Ft. Wayne, Sunday, to
attend the Golden wedding of Mr.
and Mrs. Wm. Niswander of that
city, former Bluffton residents. A
reception was held by the couple in
the Ft. Wayne Gospel Tabernacle.

Ebenezer Broadcast
A mixed group will sing in the
Ebenezer church program broadcast
from Findlay radio station WFIN
Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Bauman are
rejoicing over the birth of a baby
girl born to them, Tuesday after
noon.
Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Schumacher
and daughter Betty are making plans
to move on the farm in Hancock
county which they purchased some
time ago. They are at present re
siding in their property north of the
St. John church.
William Seyer Jr., spent the past
week on furlough with his home
folks.
Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Kohli visited
in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gid
Steiner and family, Sunday after
noon.
The special services at St. John
church are being well attended each
night. Rev. Albert Schultz of
Omaha, Nebraska is bringing in
spiring messages. Meetings close
next Tuesday night. Rev. Schultz
is secretary of Grace Bible Institute
of Omaha.
Donald, youngest son of Mr. and
Mrs. William Welty spent Wednes
day in Columbus.

Mr. and Mrs. Will Neiswander
who formerly resided in this com
munity and since then have lived in
Ft. Wayne celebrated their golden
wedding anniversary at the Ft.
Wayne Gospel Temple. Those at
tending from here were Mr. and Mrs.
Ed Leightner and family, Mr. and
Mrs. William Schumacher and Mr.
and Mrs. Louis Neiswander.
One of the large stock trucks own
ed by Geiger Bros, was seriously
damaged when it was struck by an
automobile at an intersection near
Tiffin while enroute home from
Cleveland, Raymond Core of Col.
Grove operates the truck. Neither
of the drivers was hurt in the col
lision.
Albert Schutz was in Detroit one
day last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest S. Zuercher
who have operated a large tract of
land known as the Clark Frazier
farm near Rawson for a number of
years and then moved to Ft. Wayne
for some time are returning to the
Frazer farm.
Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Diller, Susan
Diller and Frieda Yoder visited in
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph
Diller and family in Kokomo, Ind.,
on Thanksgiving day. Bert Y’oder of
Bunker Hill, Ind. was also a guest.
Hiram Schutz and son have recent
ly purchased a new two row corn
picker.
Rev. D. J. Unruh returned from
Illinois where he had spent some
time visiting churches in the interest
of the Northern Bible Society. He

Quite a number of farmers arc at
present plowing.
Miss Marie Imbach spent a num
ber of days at Kalamazoo, Michigan
in the home of her neice, Mr. and
Mrs. Doyle Bowersman.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Amstutz and
family who have resided on the
Davy farm southwest of Pandora
for a number of years have recently
purchased the Gene Hall farm near
Rockport and expect to occupy it
early in the spring.
Mumps is at present keeping
quite a number of families housed.
