Sylvan Burkholder, brother of the bridegroom was best man. Mr£ Hitchcock, mother of the bride wore a dark blue dress with white accessories and a white car nation corsage. Mrs. Burkholder, mother of the bridegroom wore a light green dress with black accessories and corsage of white carnations. Ushers were Ruth and Lois Burkholder. Miss Vera Amstutz accompanied by her sister, Miss Mabel Amstutz at the piano sang “O Promise* Me” and “Because”. The traditional wed ding march was played. A pink and white color scheme pre vailed and the altar was decorated with colonial bouquets of pink and hydrangea white roses and white flanked with candelabra. Following the wedding was held at the O. C. home for 125 relatives and friends. JORG HATCHERY Phone 182W Mr. and Mrs. Mr. and Mrs. Miss Melva Phoebe Ann Basinger Rites Held Wednesday Funeral services w’ere held Wed nesday afternoon at the residence for Miss Phoebe Ann Basinger, 67, who died early last Monday morning in the family home, two and one-half miles east of Columbus Grove. Death followed an illness of sev eral weeks. The daughter oi Catherine Basinger, April 21, 1877, on the farm where she died. She was a member of Pleasant Grange, the Order of the Eastern Star and of the Columbus Grove Presbyterian church. and she born Survivors include three sisters, Emma and Clara Loui^ Basinger, of Columbus Grove. Rev. Ralph P. Thompson, pastor of the Columbus Grove Presbyterian church, officiated at the funeral rites. Burial was in Zion cemetery, east of Columbus Grove.
