Settlement Roger, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Reichenbach submitted to an operation for appendicitis at the Community hospital Saturday evening. Ellis King, aged 32 years, passed away very suddenly at the Bluffton hospital Saturday where he was to submit to an operation. He had been a truck driver for the Farm Bureau in Allen county for a number of years. The deeply bereaved widow and two children have the heart felt sympathy of the entire community. Funeral services were conducted at the Grace church in Pandora Tues day afternoon. The members of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ben Basinger family had a family reunion at the homestead, Sunday. Misses Marie Imbach and Lorena Hochstettler returned last Thursday after spending a number of weeks visiting relatives in the vrest coast states. Guernsey breeders of this area are having a picnic at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Welty Thursday. Rev. and Mrs. William Cox visited last week at Elkton, Michigan. The ladies chorus of the St. John church enjoyed a picnic Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Ellis Steiner.
