Altho riding the crest of a six game winning streak, the undefeated Bluffton team will go into action against their Class A opponent as only a lukewarm favorite. St. Rose comes here with an envi able record to date, having lost only one game in five starts. With the Bluffton college Christ mas recess continuing until next Tuesday, Jan. 7, the collegian cage team will not swing into action again until Saturday night, Jan. 11, when Wilberforce’s classy outfit will perform here against the Beavers. Funeral Tuesday For Army Veteran Funeral services were held in the Lafayette Christian church Tuesday afternoon for Robert T. Kline, 29, veteran of the regular army who died Sunday morning at the Veter ans hospital in Dayton. Death from pulmonary tuberculosis followed a four years’ illness. He had been in the hospital for six months. A son of Robert and Nellie (Tay lor) Kline, he was born in Lima, July 17, 1917 and served in the regular army four years receiving his discharge in 1943. He married Evelyn Dishong, Feb ruary 4, 1945 who survives vrith a 14 months old daughter Barbara Jayne. Also surviving are his par ents, brothers Richard, John, Kenneth and Donald and sister, Virginia, all of Lafayette and a brother Fred with the U. S. army of occupation in Germany. Rev. Walter Klingler officiated at the funeral assisted by Rev. W. B. Arthur. Burial was in Lafayette cemetery.
