Grove To Get Modern Elevator A new modern concrete and steel grain elevator will be erected in Columbus Grove this summer to re place the structure destroyed by fire last week, according to plans an nounced Tuesday. The new elevator will be 80,000 to 100,000 bushels storage capacity in stead of the 18,000 bushel capacity of the old one. Whether the new elevator will be located on the old site has not yet been determined, since because of its larger size the former location may not be large enough. FRESH,‘GREEN TEXAS Bluffton People Drawn On Juries A number of Bluffton people were drawn Tuesday on grand and petit jury venires for the April term of the Allen county common pleas court. Grand jurors are scheduled to convene April 28, while petit jurors will be subject to court call. John, Watkins of Bluffton was among those drawn for grand jury service. Bluffton residents drawn on the petit jury venire included Carlton Wilson, Sam Badertscher, Lucille Habegger and Fred Gratz. Last Rites Held For Peter Bucher Funeral services for Peter Bucher, 83, retired farmer and lifelong resi dent of the Lafayette community, were held at the Paul Diller funeral home here Saturday afternoon with Rev. Howard Landes officiating. Burial was in the Ebenezer ceme tery. He died in Bluffton hospital, Thursday afternoon following a six weeks’ illness after a paralytic stroke. He was a member of the Ebenezer Mennonite church. Surviving are a cousin, Peter P. Badertscher near Lafayette with whom he lived the past four months a niece Mrs. Cal Lugibihl, Bluffton and nephew, Mrs. Raymond Bucher, Pandora.
