W. S. Culp officiating. Miss Metta Kohli, Bluffton, is the only living memler of le original wedding party, besides the principals. Mrs. Motter the former Osa Hamilton, attended the Dally school where she met her hus (and at a literary meeting of the Dally and Owlsburg schools. Both are natives of Orange township. The couple started housekeeping on the Motter farm in Orange town ship, five miles northwest of Ada, where they resided for 11 years. For the next 37 years they lived on the farm they purchased northwest of Ada, moving to town three years ago. They have three children, Errett, Ada Mrs. Gladys Motter Harmony, Sprinfeileld and Gerald at home. Their three grandchildren, Clair, Joe and Patty are children of Mr. and Mrs. Erret Motter. The “junior” couple celebrating their silver anniversary, were mar ried on December 1, 1922 in the parsonage of the Bluffton Reformed church by the Rev. H. C. Blosser. Mr. Motter has been an employee of the Ohio Power Co. for many years and recently retired as Ada Scoutmaster after a quarter century of progress with the troop. Rabbit Supper At High School Here Students of the F. F. A. and the F. H. A. enjoyed a rabbit supper in the high school cafeteria last week. The event was sponsored by the girls organization and seven mem bers of the Beaverdam parliament ary team, the latter staging demon strations in parliamentary procedure as part of the program. A welcome by Beatrice Leiber was extended to the F. F. A. boys on behalf of the F. H. A. followed by the response delivered by Luke Lug ibihl opened the program. A Thanks giving story was then told by Ruth Anna Lee followed by poems read by Bonnie Deeds, Beulah Burkholder and Jenny Burkholder. Mary Dun bar gave an impersonation and Lou ise Reichenbach and Margaret Strat ton played a clarinet duet, Fresh men and senior girls also presented two skits. Plans for the December 1st meet ing of the F. H. A. include Mrs. Charles Hankish, Jr., and Mrs. Harry Shrider, Jr., English war brides, as speakers. They will dis cuss Christms customs in England. Funeral Rites For Infant Stratton Boy Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the Paul Diller funeral home for Stephen Ortho Stratton, infant son of Ortho and Anna Mary Stratton, who died last Friday in Lima Memorial hospital, 14 days after his birth in Bluffton Community hospital. In addition to his parents, the infant is survived by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Stratton, Bluffton, and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Crow, Mt. Cory. His parents live in Findlay. Burial was in the Clymer ceme tery. Stultz, Clever Head Engineering Society Gerald Clever, Bluffton, was elect ed secretary-treasurer of the Ohio Northern chapter, Ohio Society of Professional Engineers, at a meet ing last week in Findlay. Norris Stultz, former Bluffton res ident, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Emer son Stultz, of Grove street, is new president of the chapter. Stultz now* is associated with the Findlay water works. Clever is employed at the Woodcock generating station of the Central Ohio Light and Power Co., in Bluffton. Dr. Allman Speaks At Leesville Dedication Dr. V. H. Allman, of Bluffton, superintendent of the Sandusky Conference of the United Brethren church, was one of the speakers last Sunday at re-dedication of the new ly remodeled Leesville, Evangelical United Brethren church. Library Closed Bluffton public library will be closed on Thanksgiving day, it is an nounced by Miss Ocie Anderson, librarian. Open Friday afternoon from noon to 5 o’clock.
