The party plans to make headquarters at Shinglehouse, Pa., which is considered excellent hunting territory. The Bluffton hunters mak ing the trip are Merlin Mumma, Clair Montgomery, Donavin Mont gomery and Raymond Montgomery. Deer season in Ohio opens Decem ber 15 to 19 in the eight northeastern counties of the state. The first two days of the season, Dec. 15 and 16 are reserved for archers and the 17, 18 and 19 for gunners only. Bows pulling at least 40 pounds and guns using balls or slug mitted. Ohio contains an estimated 10,000 wild deer and about 5,200 of these, or over half, are in the northeastern counties. Herds both bucks and this year.
