Rites For Abraham Hilty At Pandora Funeral services were held Satur day in Pandora for Abraham Hilty, 60, brother of Mrs. S. S. Bixel, of Bluffton, Rt. 2, who died last Wed nesday of cerebral hemorrhage. In addition to Mrs. Bixel, other sur vivors are his wife, the former Mar gret Basinger two daughters, Mrs. Marceil Eck and Mrs. Kathryn Eis enbach, both of Pandora a son, Cyril Hilty, Pandora sisters, Elizabeth and Minnie Hilty, of Pandora three brothers, Henry and Peter Hilty, Pandora, and Aldine Hilty, Indiana Harbor, Ind. Dies At Home Of Daughter Near Here Funeral services were held Sunday in Lima for James R. Bowers, 61, a native of Columbus Grove, who died last Thursday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Henry Green, Route 2, Bluffton. A retired B. and O. railroad engineer, Green had lived in Lima most of his life. In addition to the daughter, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Core, Gomer four brothers, Floyd Bowers, Ottawa iRay Bowers, Co lumbus Grove and G. P. and Carl Bowers, both of Lima. Rlutfton Youth Is On Hi-Y Cabinet Addison Meyers, high school senior and cabinet member of the local Hi-Y, was elected treasurer at the district meeting of that organization held in Lima last week. The meet ing was held in the Y. M. C. A. with all officers of Hi-Y clubs of this district in attendance. Addison Myers, Sam Buhler and High School Principal Gerhard Buhler, adviser, represented the local group. Problems peculiar to each office were considered in group discussions after which a general meeting was held for the election of district of ficers. Moser, formerly of Bluff-* ton, has been named deputy collector of internal revenue in Troy, Ohio, after serving for the last year in the Piqua area. Moser resides in Fletcher with his wife and three children. He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theophilus Moser who lived west of town.
