Krohn has returned to her home after spending several weeks in the home of her son I’aul and family of Chicago and sister Zoe of Rensselaer, Ind. Mrs. Raymond Bucher is a surgical patient of Bluffton hospital. Eli Schumacher is quite ill at his home here. Levi Hager who had been a patient at Veteran’s Hospital in Dayton for a number of weeks returned to his home here last week. Miss Betty Steiner is employed in the office of the Lennox Furnace Co. in Lima. The Putnam County Men’s Brother hood of the Methodist Church will be entertained by the Brotherhood of the local church on Tuesday evening. Mrs. Arthur Burry entertained at a birthday party in honor of their daughter Janice, on Monday evening. Cassius C. Corson, 88, passed away at his late home here at 2:30 A. M. Monday after a brief illness. He is survived by a son Guy of Bluffton two daughter Mrs. Virginia Davies, Pandora Mrs. Magdaline Wilson, Dayton a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a broth er, Edward Krohn of Pandora. The body will remain at the Lehman Funeral home until time of services which will be held at 2:30 P. M. on Wednesday at the Church of Christ. Burial will be in Pandora Cemetery. Ohio poultry men have found ways to avoid part of the heavy disease losses of layers which threatened the poultry industry several years ago but still lose 10 per cent or more of the birds each season. This unit, to gether with a boiler having a capacity of 120,000 pounds of steam per hour, an extension of the Plant building and all auxiliary equipment cost approxi mately $1,200,000. Total construction expenditures last year were about $1,350,000 and it is expected that construction expenditu amount to approximately $860,000 which includes the co circuit from Findlay to North Baltimore in order to provide for customers in that area. The Company is also installinc in its St. Marys Power Plant. It is proposed to raise a part of the money required fc additions through the sale of shares of Common Stock wh is today offering to its stockholders at a price of $24.50 to their preemptive right. Such right to subscribe expires If all of such shares are subscribed, the total offering $298,900.
