Miss Jean Ann Steinman, student in Baldwin Wallace college, Berea, has returned to her home here fol lowing the close of college for the summer vacation. Little Darlene Ann Thompson, who spent the past week with her grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. Binkley, returned to her home in Lima, Sun day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Thompson. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Tripp of St. Petersburg, Fla., called on Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Murray here last Satur day. The two families were neigh bors when the Murrays wintered in Florida a number of years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Tripp were enroute to their former home in Toledo. Miss Pierce, accompanied by her brother Franklin stopped here on a motor trip from Santa Monica, Calif., to their home in New York i city. Sunday visitors at the J. R. Mrs. Eunah Temple Holden of De land, Florida, former Bluffton resi dent, visited friends here Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Holden, a Bluffton high school graduate of the class of 1910 is connected with the Florida state department of education and stopped here enroute to Bowling Green where she is attending an educational conference. Farm Bureau Council Farm Bureau council No. 11 will not hold their regular monthly meet ing this week. Richland Grange Movies wnll be the feature of the lecturer’s hour at Richland Grange next Tuesday night. Richland Community Circle Richland Community circle will meet at the home of Mrs. Addie Graber, Thursday a. m. July 8 at 11 o’clock and leave for Riverside park, Findlay, to enjoy a basket dinner. Garden Club The Garden club was entertained at. the home of Mrs. Ray Hilty last Wednesday night in honor of Mrs. Robt. A. Potts who will soon leave for Oregon. The evening was spent in showing colored garden slides and visiting. Dainty refreshments were served and Mrs. Potts was presented with a lovely gift with best wishes of the club. Gold Star 4-H Club Twentv-five members of the Gold Star 4-H club attended the meeting Monday night and answered roll call by naming their favorite flower. Mrs. Edgar Jackson of Belvidere, Ill., is spending a two weeks’ vacation with her mother, Mrs. Wm. Lightner and other relatives. Plans were made for a picnic supper in July. Mr. and Mrs. Lysle Cahill of Cleve land have sold their home on Belvoir Blvd, and will move the latter part of this week to 4359 Brainard Rd. with P. O. at Chagrin Falls, O. Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Baumgartner held open house Sunday afternoon from 3 to 5 honoring Mr. Baumgart ner’s brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Detrick Becker and daugh ter Velma, Wellington, Kan., and an other daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sommer. Nearly one hundred friends and relatives called during the afternoon and an enjoy able reunion was had after eight years. The party stopped here over the w’eek end, enroute to Ft. Knox. Ky., where Mr. Sommer is stationed w’ith the army.
