Deeds and Hugh E. Hilty, son of Mr. and Mrs .Earl Hilty, will take place at the home of the bride on North Main street this Wednes day night at 7:30 o’clock with Rev. W’alter Purdy of Rawson officiating. A reception following the wedding will be held at the Deeds home at 8:15 o’clock. Bridal Shower A pre-nuptial shower was held Friday night for Miss Vera Smith whose wedding to Kenneth Watkins took place Sunday. Hostesses were Misses Mildred Marshall and Myda Jane Manges for the shower which was held at the latter’s home. A color scheme of pink and white prevailed throughout the decorations. ‘‘Questions on Courtship”, a quiz, answered by the bride-elect in the presence of the guests was secretly recorded on a home recording set by Miss Roberta Manges and afterward played for the guests. Gifts were placed under a pink and white umbrella. Games were played with prices going to Mrs. Dwight Frantz, Mrs. Dale Keith, Miss Neva Smith and Miss Esther Reichenbach.
