THE BLUFFTON NEWS, BLUFFTON, OHIO Going on their heaviest scoring rampage of the season, Bluffton High’s sharpshooting’ cagers walloped Carey by a 61 to 38 score last Friday night on the local court. It was the second win in three starts for the Pirates, and the victory enabled them to open their home season in auspicious fashion. Bluffton led all the way, jumping away to a 12 to 7 advantage in the first quarter and widening the ad vantage by halftime to a count of 34 to 17. At the third quarter the score stood, 48 to 22. Bluffton High Cagers Trounce Carey By 61-38 Score In First Home Game Jim Badertscher went on a one man scoring rampage to lead the Pirate attack by tallying 21 points on nine field goals and three free throws. Contract For Pandora School Addition Let Construction of an addition to Pandora High school housing a new gymnasium, farm shop and bus garage will be started early next year, it was announced this week by school officials. John DeWar and Sons of Leipsic were successful bidders for the general contract on a bid of $88,064. The electric contract went to Farrell Martin, of Defiance, on a $4,765 bid. E. W.
