Massed Orchestra,
Band Concert Here
Massed band and orchestra made
up of students from five Bluffton
area high schools will present a
concert on Harmon field this Wed
nesday night at 8 o’clock.
Musicians appearing in the con
cert will come from Ada, Mt. Cory
Rawson, Pandora, Columbus Grove
and Bluffton High schools.
Preceding the concert, bands from
the five school will parade through
the downtown district, in an event
starting at 4:30 p. m. Rehearsals
for the evening concerts will be held
during the afternoon.
In the massed band there will be
200 musicians, and the orchestra will
be made up of 80 instrumentalists.
In the evening concerts, Laurence
Burkhalter, of Bluffton college, will
direct the orchestra, and Prof. Ecker,
of Bowling Green State
will conduct the band.
