Two former religious education in structors appearing on the program were Miss Ruth Yoder, of Bellefon taine, and Miss Alice Trueschell, of Bowling Green. Mrs. Charles Lauby, present in structor, reviewed the 25-year-old education program, and showed pic tures of classes over the span of time the program has been in effect here. A piano duet was played by Wilma Jean Jorg and Arlene Gierman and there was a violin solo by Lois Lauby, accompanied by Wilma Jean Jorg. POULTRY RAISERS! Instructors of the religious educa tion course over the 25 year period included Miss Ruth Yoder, 1924-28 Miss Vivian Musselman, 1928-31 Miss Ruth Yoder, 1931-36 Miss Alice Trueschel, 1936-38 Miss Janet Hen derson, 1939-40 Miss Teefenthaller, 1940-41 Miss Sypos, 1941-44 Mrs. Sylvia Pannabecker, 1944-46, and Mrs. Charles Lauby since 1946. Present enrollment in religious education classes numbers 282, it was reported. Bluffton’s program of religious education is sponsored by the Council of Religious Education. Officers of the organization for the past year have been Rev. L. W. McIntire, presi dent Clarence D. Diller, vice-presi dent and Rev. O. Merrill Boggs, secretary-treasurer. Mrs. Hiram Krohn and daughter, Mrs. Bernice Anderson returned to their home on Thursday after a several weeks’ trip through the southern states. Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Sheidler Vallejo, Calif., were week-end guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Sheidler. Friday guests in the Sheidler home were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Terry, of Leipsic. Mrs. Clara Light, Mrs. Amos Bracy and daughter Clara accompan ied Mr. and Mrs. Carl D. Light and daughter Alice Jean, of Ft. Wayne, Ind., to Fihdlay for Sunday dinner. Mr. C. D. Steiner was returned to his home here on Wednesday from Memorial Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. George Packman, Piqua, were week-end guests of the Stanley Burkhart family. Earl Thompson was admitted to the Bluffton Community Hospital on Sunday evening, ■where he underwent surgery for appendicitis. Mrs. C. A. Basinger opened her home to the members of the Advance Club on Saturday afternoon. Roll call was answered too with “Some interesting facts about the colored race”. Mrs. A. A. Dalton, of Lima, was guest speaker, and chose for her subject “My People.” Music was provided by a trio.
