OHIO *andora Couple's 50th Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. David Steiner, near Pandora, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday. A family dinner will be held at noon in Columbus Grove. Open house will be observed from 2 to 5 o’clock in the afternoon at the Steiner home. Mr. and Mrs. Steiner were mar ried Aug. 9, 1900. They have spent most of their life near Pandora. The couple have five daughters and two sons. They are: Mrs. Clyde Gleaves, Dallas, Texas Mrs. Her bert Rolsten, Norwalk Mrs. Lester Weimert, Mrs. Orrin S. Welty and Mrs. Robert P. Henderson, Lima Clifford Steiner, Mendon and Cpl. Walter H. Steiner, with the army in Alaska. They have six grandchild ren .. Local Men Get Posts On GOP Committee Armin Hauenstein, Bluffton drug gist, has been named a member of the finance committee of the Allen county Republican executive commit tee. John A. Thompson, also of Bluff ton, has been appointed to fill a va cancy on the central committee. Stanley M. Vertner, of Beaverdam, is a member of the finance commit tee of the committee. Bluffton Woman To Be Gilboa Teacher Frederick 0. Fisher, of Marion, has been hired as superintendent of the Blanchard school system in Gil boa, and among new teachers on the faculty is Miss Harriet Amstutz, Bluffton, who will teach in the third and fourth grades. GRADUATES ON COAST Charles Sheidler, former student at Bluffton college, has received his B. S. degree from the college of agriculture at State Polytechnic col lege, San Luis Obispo, Calif. He will enter University of Mich igan, Ann Arbor, next fall, to work toward his master’s degree. He is spending the summer vacation with his sister, Mrs. Eugene Benroth, S. Jackson street, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Sheidler, of Leipsic. past two weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Luginbuhl and daughters of Westfield, New Jersey, and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Luginbuhl of Washington, D.
