Richland Grange Christmas party next Tuesday night. Bingo and white elephant gift exchange. Each family bring some 25 cent gift for adults, 10c gift for children. Christmas Party Bluffton hospital nurses held their annual Christmas party in the Nurses dining hall, Friday evening, with 38 present. The evening’s program included a short play depict ing Christmas in other lands direct eed by Mrs. Doris Hammon follow ed by a gift exchange, and visit from Santa Claus. Progressive Mothers Club Club members will give a Christ mas party for their children in St. John’s Reformed church next Tues day night at 7:30 o’clock. A gift exchange has been arranged and mystery sisters will be revealed. In charge of arrangements are Mrs. Margaret Steiner, Mrs. Helen Anderson. Mrs. Lavonne Crawfis and Mrs. Bernice Deerhake. Bethesda Societies W. S. W. S. and L. A. S. held an all day Christmas meeting at the home of Mrs. Florence Scothorn last Wednesday with a potluck dinner at noon. Brownies go Caroling A group of 46 Brownies, newly organized junior branch of the Girl Scouts sang Christmas carols to shutins and patients at Bluffton hospital, Saturday night. Later they enjoyed refreshments in the Metho dist church dining room. Officers of the organization are Pres., Donita Luginbill secretary, Judy Frankhouser treasurer, Patty Urich scribe, Bonnie Edie. The next meeting will be held the first week in January. Holiday Wedding Wedding of Miss Janice Murray, onlv daughter of Supt. of Schools A. B. Murray and Mrs. Murray of Cherry street to William Millberg ot Philadelphia, son of Dr and Mrs. Wm Millberg of Ashtabula will take place in the Presbyterian church here Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o clock. Rev. W. McIntire, pastor of the church will officiate in an open church ceremony. Miss Murray, a graduate of Ohio State university is studying voice in Philadelphia and appearing profes sionally on radio and television. Mr. Millberg. a graduate of Ohio State University is a student in Jef ferson Medical college, Philadelphia. Mothers Night Out Club Christmas gift exchange will be held at the home of Mrs. Esther Anderson, Thursday night. Officers for the coming year will be elected. Rockport Mrs. Walter Cupp was hostess to the Pastime club of Columbus Grove Thursday evening of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Mayberry left Saturday for a vacation trip to var ious points in Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Reagan and little son Randy of Dayton were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Campbell and Mr. and Mrs. William Reagan. The annual Christmas party and gift exchange of Farm and Home Advisory Council will be held in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Orlo Marsh all Wednesday evening of next week. The annual Christmas program at the Presbyterian church will be giv en this Thursday evening, Dec. 21 st. The play, “Christmas at Barney McGee’s,” a two act Christmas com edy, will be presented. Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Campbell were among those who attended the 5th annual Allen county dairymen’s ban quet held in the H. S. cafeteria in Elida last Wednesday evening. Thur man Miller, Wilmington humorist, entertained the group following the banquet. Mrs. Glen Huber is at the home of her daughter Mrs. William Flick in Lima assisting in the care of the little grandson who recently arrived. Mrs. Mary Sylvester and Loren Hu ber were Sunday afternoon callers in the Flick home. Mrs. J. C. Begg, Mrs. Irene Cupp and Mrs. D. C. Campbell were guests at a meeting of the New Century club held in the home of Miss Em ma Basinger in Columbus Grove Monday afternoon. Mrs. Alice Bodell has been a guest in the home of her son George Harshe in Toledo for the last few weeks. Mrs. Irene Cupp and daughter Marjorie of this place and Richard Cupp of Columbus are planning to spend Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Aiderman and children James and Ardaith at their country home near Youngstown. At a meeting of the Presbyterian Missionary society held in the home of Mrs. Irene Cupp last Wednesday afternoon, the following officers were installed for the coming year in an impressive service by Mrs. L.
