reasons why tho Republican State,
Senatorial and County Representatives
should bo elected.
After tho mooting it was heard on
all sides, that the Democratic papers
havo greatly belied our hustling and
active candidate for Representative
Bonj. P. James. That ho is equal to
any and buperior to many of their
noted and prominent Democratic
Statesman, and that Wood county will
make no mistake by sending Benny to
the Legislature; ho is a hustler at
homo in his business, ranking second
to" none in activity in this county, and
tho records of tho court will substan
tiate this statement; ho is honorable in
all dealings and ono of tho most public
spirited young attorneys in North
western Ohio, and if Wood ceunty asks
any legislation jou can depend on
James' "got there qualities." We
say that every Republican should vote
for James and also tho ontiro Republi
can ticket.
Fred Yeager, tbo Republican candi
date for Treasurer, was born and raised
in Wood county, and his honor and
integrity never havo been questioned;
ho has more Democratic friends than
any other ono Republican in Wood
county, and tho man who votes for him
makes no mistake; and his majority
will bo any whoro from 700 to 1,000.
Christopher Pinkboiner, Republican
candidate for re-election, needs no in
troduction. Ho has now berved nearly
three yecrj in the most satisfactory
manner to tho people of Wood county.
Ho has always been courteous, honor
able, gentlemanly and prompt in all
matters pertaining to his private and
ofllciul affairs, as all can testify who
haye done business at tho Recorder's I friends.

Mrs. E. Mollonkopp's dry goods store

are way down.
