How n Ilrltlnh Soldier Stntloueil in Imllii Won for lllmenlf u llrlile. An extraordinary romance has lust come to light at l'oviia, India, in which Private Humphries, of the Cheshire regiment, nfter falling in love with a young girl named Victoria Grey, man aged to carry her oft' from the St. Joseph's convent at Secundernbad, und has now married her. Miss Grey, who is said to be a very handsome lady, was placed in the con vent by her father in 1SDG, when she was only ten years old. Tive years later Mr. Grey wrote to the mother superior inquiring after liis daughter's health, but received no reply. Then, on January 7, 1902, he got a letter from Father Blgi, vicar general at Secundernbad, stating that the girl was well. It was not till February B, 1003, that Mr. Grey discovered that his daughter had been taken out of the convent two years before by a woman professing to be her aunt, and hnd been married to a soldier in northern India. That soldier turned out to be Pri vate Humphries, of the Cheshire regi ment, who had fallen in love with Miss Grey while bis regiment was stationed at Secundernbad. By menus of the supposed aunt, it is nlleged that Private Humphries man ngd to talce Miss Grey from the con vent nnd carried her off to Quetta, where the3- were married in the Human Catholic churcli. i "Want your monatachn nr itcnril ,i beautiful J rown or rich black? Since Prof. Flnsen's discovery of the violet-ray euro for lupus, special ists nt Vienna have devoted much at tention to the study of light thera peutics. Dr. SchiiT, finding the Finscn lamp so expensive, experimented with Roentgen rays, which are well known to contain a large proportion of violet rays, ozone and other curative ele ments, and hits met with murked suc cess in curing lupus, tuberculosis of the shin, and cancer of the bkiu. In periods of a month to six weeks ho has cured or vastly improved patients, being specially succebsful in cases of superficial caucer. Dr. SchiiT does not think that he has yet proved that the Itoentgen is equal to the Finsen lamp rays for lupus, but thinks thnt further experi ments may demonstrate it. Meanwhile 'ho has nhown. the power of lloentgen rays to cure diseases nnd nfTcctions of the skin which the Finsen lnmp does not touch. lie has obtained good re uults with the ozone lamp, which emits only the ozone ingredients of the Itoentgen rays. The experiments are still going on, being aided by u subsidy of the Austrian government. Sound kidneys strain out the impurities from the blood, diseased kidneys do not, hence you are sick. FOLEY'S KIDNEY CURE makes the kidneys well so they will eliminate the poisons from the blood. It removes the cause of the many diseases resulting from disordered kidneys which have allowed your whole system to become poisoned. Rheumatism, Bad Blood, Gout, Gravel, Dropsy, Inflammation of the Bladder, Diabetes and Bright's Disease, and many others, are all due to disordered Kidneys. A simple test for Kidney disease is to set aside your urine in a bottle or glass for twenty-four hours. If there is a sediment or a cloudy appearance, it indicates that your kidneys are diseased, and unless something is done they become more and more affected until Bright's Disease or Diabetes develops. FOLEY'S KIDNEY CURE is the only preparation which will positively cure all forms of Kidney and Bladder troubles, and cure you permanently. It is a safe remedy and certain in results. Bf You are a sufferer, fake FOLEY'S KIDNEY CURE at once. It will make you well. Somo Pronounced Incurable Had Lumbago and Kidney Trouble Air. G. A. Stillson. a merchant of Tampico, III., writes: "FOLEY'S KIDNEY CUKE is meeting with wonderful success. It has cured some cases here that physicians pronounced incurable. I myself am able to testify .to its merits. My face today is a living picture of health and FOLEY'S KIDNEY CURE has made it such." Edward Huss, a well known business man of Salisbury, Mo., writes: "I wish to say for the benefit of others, that I was a sufferer from lumbago and kidney trouble, and all the remedies I took gave me no relief.
