and raiment as long as she will remain.

J. C. Myers of Whitehouse, kin
dled the fire with coal oil. He did not
notice that there was fire in tho stove
and an explosion followed in which h
was badly burned, and died from the
shock next day. He was 80 years of
age.
The Chatauqua Circle of Bowling
Green will hold a picnic at Fort Meigs
the second week in June and each
member will be expected to give a
three minute talk on tho principal
points of interest in and around Fort
Meigs. Sentinel.
J. K. Bobiuson of Now York City,
was throvn from a horse last Satur
day and killed. His remains wore ta
ken to Akron, Ohio, for burial on
Thursday. His brother, W. G. Bobin
son, went to Akron Tuesday morning
to attend the funeral.
E. J. Spilker and wife of Webster
were guests on Sunday at thohome of
L. A.Tropanierand wife of Dunbrldge.
While there Mr. Tiepanler drove his
new auto to the homo of J. F. Byrno
and wife near Perrysburg, and they
all enjoyod a nleasanttrip.
. There is a vacancy in tho corps of
teachers of the Tontoganv schools ow
ing to tho resignation of Miss MrKeo,
of the grammar room. Tho Board of
Education has as yet rrceived no ap
plications for tho position, but it is ex
pected It will be filled in the near fu
ture. Secretary Burgo of tho Bowling
Grepn Y. M. C. A. lias arranged for a
party of boys to start with him on Sat
urdav morning at 0 o'clock aud walk
to Ft. Meigs. They will carry lunch
with them and expect to meet a party
of Toledo Y M. C. A. bovs at the Fort,
where thny will inspect the, historic
ground.
