EVANGELICAL CHURCH ConUnned from First Page. these arc in their legitimate places they do not constitute the essential need of the church now. An alarming weakness among Christians is that we are produc ing Christian activities faster than we arc producing Christian experience and Christian -faith. We multiply activities, we are ex perts at that, but how about spiritual efficiency to make them count for God and the uplift for humanity not by might nor by power but by my spirit, saith the Lord. "We are reading and hearing so much about reconstruction that one must almost conclude that re construction, instead-of Christ and salvation, is the imperative need of the hour. Let us reconstruct wherever whenever necessary, but 'we must not forget that reconstruction ef forts and means must be sur charged with spiritual power, otherwise they will result in posi tive failure.
