An Ordinance Rclnting to tho Number
ing of Houses.
Bo it ordained by tho Mayor and
Common Council of tho City of Globo:
SECTION I.
It is hereby made tho duty of ovorv
householder, owner, occupant or other
porson having charge or control of any
houso within tho City of Globe, to main
tain upon ench such houso, in conspicu
ous places, such numbor or numbers as
may bo required, designated and iur
nishod by tho City of Globe.
For each numbor designated, furn
ished and placed in position such house
holder, occupant or agent shall pay tho
City tho sum of fifty conts.
Tho said houses shall bo numbered
on a basis of ono hundred numbors,
divided equally per block, and distrib
uted consecutively and proportionally
6n oithor sido of tho streot in each
block, tho odd numbers boing upon tho
cast and south sides of tho streots res
pectively, and tho oven numbors boing
upon tho north and west sides of tho
streets, as nearly as may be.
SECTION n.
It is horoby made tho duty of tho
Superintendent of Streots to suporin
toud tho numboring of houses as afore
said and tho collecting therefor.
SECTION III.
This ordinnnco shall take effect and
bo in forco from and after its pas
sage. Passed and adopted tho 23d day of
May, A. D. 1907.
