FAILED TO KEEP WORD AND IS NOW IN JAIL Sam Andorson, a stock brandor cm ployed at tho dwindling ranch, forty miles distant from Qlobo, was arrested Monday night and brought to tho city yesterday by Deputy Sheriff McMurray on a warrant charging him with potty larceny. Andorson is wanted in Graham county and a deputy sheriff from Port Thomas .reached tho city last night and will take him to Solomonvillo this morning. Anderson is specifically charged with stealing a saddle from lort Thomas par ties about a month ago, and taking it to tho Channing ranch, where ho was cm ployed. Tho proporty nllogcd to havo been stolen was found in Anderson's possession and was brought to Globo by Deputy McMurray. Anderson assorts that ho borrowed tho saddlo from the ownor and intended to roturn it tho first timo ho visited the Fort Thomas section. At 12 o'clock Daniol was again taken into custody and confined in the county jail. It seems that Judge Xavo made tho order commuting Daniol and was tho only official who could make an order releasing tho prisoner. Judge Nave, who is in Solomonvillo, was called by phono and apprised of the situation. Last night he sent a written order to local officers and Daniol will bo released this morning. J. N. Porter reached tho city Monday night and com plotcd tho bond by qualifying for $10, 000. Daniol will now perhaps enjoy his liberty until tho mooting of tho grand jury next month. It is understood that tho people living in that immodiuto vicinity and tho territory contiguous will bo sntisfiod with a small schoolhouso, if tho trustees can sco their way clear to build it, and will allow the building on Nof tsgor hill to go on with out contest. It is hold that as the Noftsgor and Pnacoo hill district be comes moro densoly populated, which it is believed it will in tho near future, that tho building proposed will be taxed to its capacity, and that a smaller room will take caro of tho children in the west end of tho district. Tho filing of tho injunction bond will bo hold up for sovornl days whilo tills last named proposition 1b under consid eration. Until tho bond is filed work on tho hill building will bo pushed.
