Had Narrow Escape C. M. Boll, em
ployed by tho Old Dominion Commer
cial company as a teamster, had a nar
row escape from death or sorious in
jury yesterday afternoon. Tho horses
attached to a heavy wagon started to
bolt on South Broad street near tho
company's warohouse and Boll lost the
reins. Ho dropped down on tho tongue
nnd tried to climb on tho back of ono
of tho horses, but lost his balance.
As tho horses dashed up tho street
Bell appeared to bo entangled in the
harness and when tho animals woro stop
ped after turning tho corner at the
courthouso Bell was" lying flat along
tho tongue of tho wagon. He, omcrgod

Found Guilty Twice Bill Harvey, a
miner, was yesterday found guilty of
using profane language in the presence
of women by Judgo Thomas and sen
tence will bo pronounced today. Har
vey was convicted of a similar offense
in Judgo Rawlings' court on tho pro
ceding day.

administration of what was formerly
tho west end of the Black Mesa (N)
National Forest:
That portion of tho Blnck Mesa (N),
south of a lino commencing nt the
rim at the west edgo of tho White
Mountain Indian Reservation and ex
tending west along tho rim to Baker's
Butte, thenco north down Pivot Rock
Canyon to West Clear Creek and west
down West Clear Creek to tho west
lino of tho Forest, has been added to
tho Tonto Forest and is administered
by Supervisor W. H. Reed, with head
quarters at Roosevelt.
That portion of tho former Ulack
Mesa (N), west of Leonard Canyon nnd
north of tho now Tonto boundary, has
been ndded to tho San Francisco Moun
tains Forest, nnd is administered hv
Supervisor F. S. Brecn at Flagstaff. Mr.
ween will rotaln jurisdiction over tho
Mud Tank Sheep Trail as formorly.
