Having dreamed three times recently that her ham would bo destroyed by Hre, Mrs. AnnAndcrson last night saw tho dream ripen into actuality. This timo it Was no visionary flames that caued the building to disappear, but a real firo that licked up tho building and contonU and caused a loss of $2, flOO, which was partly covered by insur ance. Two mules perished iu tho flames together with a large quantity of hay, corn and farming implements. Tho thrco dreams about the burning of tho building troubled Mrs. Andersoli, whoj is a "widow about SO years of ago. She lives on her farm southwest of this city, and her tenant is Virgil Pat terson. Sho told Patterson of her dreams and thoy so impressed him that Drs. US Sj Swigert Bros. ho was persuaded to take out additional insurance on his hay, corn and othor things stored in tho barn. She already had her part of tho property partly covered by insurance. Each timo tho dreams camo to her Mrs. Anderson re lated them to tho Patterson' family and naturally all camo to feel that somehow and somu timo tho barn would actually burn, and it did. While tho Patterson family was gone last night tho building caught fire. Mrs. Anderson did not discover tho firo until tho barn was wrapped in flames and thcro was no way of putting it out just ns it had como to her in her thrco dreams. Heeding not tho danger, the aged woman hurried to tho bam and at tempted to the got mules out of tho burning shed. She succeeded in get ting one of tho animals to tho door, but just at that moment a portion of the roof gavo way and fell inside the door, as Mrs. Anderson stepped out. Tho mulo was hemmed iu by tho burning timbers and perished with its mate. - Mr3. Anderson was severqiy burned about tho hands and arms by tho firo falling on them. Seeing sho conld not save anything from the building, she ran to tho house and rang tho dinner bell, which aroused the neighbors, some of whom wero. by that time on their way to the firo, having been attracted by tho light. But nothing could bo done when they arrived, except to keep tho flames from spreading to the house. Mrs. Anderson is in a serious condition as tho result of her bums, and tho nervous strain under which sho labored, and it is feared she will not recover from the shock.
