Thoy struck camp Satur day night at a point on the Little Blue river, a distance of sixty or seventy miles from Clifton, and early Sunday morning they started on a short trip. Before leaving camp ho supplied him self with matches, a -rifle and plenty of ammunition, which is a point in his favor if ho does not become bewildered and lose his reasoning. The two Millert boys returned to camp after finishing their hunt and waited until noon for Ernest to return beforo deciding that ho was lost. They spent the afternoon and part of the night searching for him and fired ono hundred rounds of ammu nition in their efforts to attract his at tention, but without success.
