Rose Murray Gives Advice to Stage-struck Girls You stage-struck girls listen to this. It contains a bit of advice from Rose Murray, one of the principals of "The Gingerbread Man," which will bo at Dreamland theafer for ono night only, February 23. Her one ambition, slio says, is to get out of the profession and lead a life of domesticity. Now it is not a caso of failure with Mibs Murray, for she has succeeded. She plays a prominent part in the cast, that of Margery Daw. Miss Murray is talented, winsome nnd good looking. She has been on the stage four years. "It was not that my artistic tempera ment would nt bo stayed, but it was the need of monc3' that drovo mo to the stace." said Miss Murray. "Of cours, every one wants to succeed. Now if I was tall and stately, 1 would like to do dramatic work (Miss Murray is under medium weight), straight dramat ic work. But a young woman of my inches has to have a play built around her and that takes 'pull', which I don't possess. Let me once get enough of tho sheckels and it will be back to the simple life for me, a life of homo and domestic happiness." That tlio gay, dashing soubrette, who is tlio "hit" of "Tlio Gingerbread Man," could give expression to such thoughts will, no doubt, be surprising t,o those who may liavo seen her, but then even appearances aro deceiving. She is full of life and her sparkling good humor has won her many friends. YOUTHFUL FEMALE ROBBER ARRESTED SAN FRANCIStO, February 19.
