grand-mothei, Mrs. Kate Skinner,
and school-nmate. Miss Laura Bon
durant, in town this week.
Mr. A. C. leGer, the well-known
carpenter, has moved temporarily
to Vicksburg, where he has con
siderable building under contract.
Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Beverly Bax
ter of Chattanooga, Tenn., are re
ceiving congratulations on the com
ing a baby-boy, who will bear the
name Bruce
Mrs. M. F. Giheon, returning
from a visit to relatives at Hamburg,
Miss., is spending several days in St.
Joseph this week, with her d(laugh
ter, Mrs. W. R. Baker.
The municipal authorities of St.
Joseph have caused all sewers and
drains about town to he sprinkled
with coal oil this week as a disin
fectant against mosquitoes and dis
ease.
A meeting of the Tenes Parish Medi
cal Society will be held at Waterproof on
next Thursday, July 6th.
