F. Milllr, presideat, M. Y. Blands J. H. Netterville, Guy N. Hunter, G. N. Clarke, A. B. Knowles and J. D. Guthrie., members, and C. L. Barrow. See'y.-Supt. On motion, the reading of the min utes of the meeting held July 5 was dispensed with and the minutes were adopted. The roll was ealled, the following members voted yea: Mr. Miller, Mr. Bland, Mr. Hunter, Mr. Knowles, Mr. Gutbrie; Mr. Nettervie and Dr. Clarke voted no. On motion by Dr. Clarke meonded by Mr. Netterville a resolution was paused setting aside " donation of $100.0 for the tri-parish fair to be bheld at Tallush. On motion duly seeeaded the fol lowing resolution was adopted: Be it resolved, that the teachers who attend the institute in St. Joseph on the 7th, 8th and 9th of September be paid at the rate of their regular There being no further buses the Board adjourned mse die. H. W. Cudd officiating, hen Nre Fan nie Chew Smith became the bride of Mr. Theodore Vance Casp. Despite the early moring hboear the church was Alled with friends of the bride and groom, iadnding some from a distance, eager to witness their happy union. Their approach was heralded by the rendition of a beautiful solo "Because" by Mr. A. M. Smith, accompanied on the organ by Mrs. J. C. aepherson, which was followed by the wedding march, ren dered by Miss Marjorie Goodwine, as the bride entered the church en the arm of the groom, preceded by the two ushers, Mr. Fred Smith, brother of the bride, and Mr. L. H Cook, who took positions on either side of the couple, as they stood at the altar, presenting a most beauti ful picture of Youth with all ts gilded premises. Here the impressive ritual servic of the Methodist-Epl copal Church, south, was read by the pestor, who used the double ring ceremony, uniting these two young lives together, "for better or for worse." Immediately afer the ceremony the bride and groom retired to the chan cel of the church, where tey held an informal reeeption and were made recipients of many good wishes by every one present, and leaving the sacred ediee they departed by auto mobile fo the railroad station to take the 7:80 passenger for points in the Omark Mountains, where they will spend a delightful honeymoon before returning to Homer A, where they will make their future home. The groom, Mr. Case, is a popular and sneeesitul young bainess man of Homer, who has won the en~d denue and respect of all Iends be cause of his manlinem and devotion to duty; the bride is youngest daugh ter of the late Mr. P. C. Smith and Mrs. Jesie Skinner Smith of this parsh..She is a native of Tenses and is loved by all who know her for her sweet dispoeltion and true womanly worth.
