Little Miss Eunice Henderson, of Pasco. is a guest at the home of her grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Hen derson. Mrs. Henderson, who fell and sprained her ankle last week, is recov ering rapidly. Sherman Halvorson, who has been employed in the Fidelity National Bank of Spokane for three years, returned last week to the home of his parents. The famiiy expect to leave soon for an extended trip through Oregon and Cali fornia. They will spend the summer in Portland and the winter in California. City Clerk D. L. Taylor announces that for the accommodation of those who cannot register during the day he will keep his office open until 9 o’clock Fri day evening' of this week. Saturday evening the registration books will close until after the special bonding election June 9. , Mr. and Mrs. John Lippold and three daughters, of Davenport. Wash. visited Tuesday at the home C. F. and W. J. Breithaupt and J. M. Buckingham. The Lippolds are starting on an auto mobile trip to Peru Indiana to visit his aged mother. The burns on the right hand were only superfigial but the back of the left was seared to the bone.and it will be several weeks before the wounds have been healed. Guy Purdy arrived the first of the week from Walla Walla to succeed John Trumble as stenographer for the Ken newick Fruit & Produce company. Mr. Trumble has accepted a position in Portland. ‘ The Courier-Reporter is indebted to J. A. Dumal of Section 18 for four fine boxes of Clark Seedling strawberries. The boxes were packed four by three and every berry was extra fancy in every particular. A. C. Jones. of Prosser, who is fixing the valuations of real /estate of the county for assessment purposes, has been working out of Kennewick this week. He is being assisted by H. S. Hughes of Hover. Hereafter the law business of M. M. Moulton will be conducted under the firm name of Moultoa &. Jeffrey. Mr. Jeffrey, who has been associated" with Mr. Moulton since the first of the year now becomes'a partner in the business. Mrs. R. J.
