Visit Relatives Not
Seen for Thirty Years
WHITE BLUFFS—Harry W. Tro
manhauser of Waterloo. lowa, paid
a surprise visit to his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. J. .B. Tromanihouser Saut
urday. Arriving in Seattle Tues
day via Minneapolis, covering a
distance of 1800 miles in ten hours
on the trip, travelling in a. North
west airlines ship, with a eapadrty
of twenty passenger, with all modern
equipment. Harry had not seen his
mother in twenty years, nor his sis
ter, Mrs. (Tiny) Ferwerda of Shel
ton, or his father. J. B. Truman
hauser, in thirty years. He says he
slept under the me bedspread on
hisfirstnightaathomeaswasused
onhisbedwhenhelefltthirtyyears
ago. His vocation is that of auction
eer. This is his first trip to WBSh-‘
lhasten. He expects in return by air
route November 1.

in the act of picking up a .22 rifle
to shoot a hawk, discharged the gunJ
sending the bullet through his foot.
J.'G. Adams (took him to Kennewick
for medical attention.
Fred and Jack Gilfrmly dmve over
from Seattle Saturday to visit their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gilhuly,
and many to have a day of
pheasant hunting. The young men
returned to Seattle Sunday.

Saturday on a deer hunting trip
which will take them into the hills{
above Wenatchee.

Bluffs was their second home, and

for the visit. They returned to Ocu

is convalescing at the home of her
brother, Clem Frost, Yakima.

Ellensburg over the week-end visit
ing with Mr. Hyslop, who is relief
operator an; the substation there.

Monday manning to spend a lew
days in Seattle visiting- with their
son, Gail, who is employed with the
Boeing Aircraft in the Sheet metal
