County Men in
the Armed Forces
Like all other counties in the na- ‘
tion. ours now has most of its young
men in the service. Many of them
are away from home for the first
time in their lives and the one
thing they miss most is word from
home. To help as much as we can,
this paper is being sent to all the
local boys in the service each week.
This, however, is not enough. Every
one who knows any of our boys
should write to them occasionally.
We are again printing the list
of names of the local boys with their
latest addresses in the hopes that
it will encourage letter writing. not
only ‘by the folks at home, .but be
tween the boys in the several
branches of the service. _
