Hanson’s father, drove to Bremer
ton Saturday and returned with
Robert Hanson who has just been
discharged from the Marines. Rob
ert is Mr. Hanson’s brother.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Schmelzer
and family visited the Van Hollen
beck home in Kahlotus Tuesday
and Wednesday of last week. Car
ol Schmazer is spending the week
at the Van Hollenbecks’. ‘
Mr. and Mrs. Sorenson of Rich
land were Monday afternoon vis
itors of Zola Reavis.
Mr. and Mrs. Merle Babcock of
Pasco were dinner guests at the
Reavis home Friday.
Harold Perkins took Jim Mich
aels to a hospital in Walla Walla
Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Osborn of
Toledo, Oregon and Zola Reavis
were dinner guests of the Bert
spurgeons Sunday. Mr. Osborn
exchanged pulpits with Mr. E. E.
Coulter of the Christian church.
David Hardy left Sunday for
Seattle. From there he went to
San Diego and the Marine Corps.
Mrs. Elizabeth Hembree and
son Walt were Monday dinner
guests at the Sands-Van Patten

Jeanette Bernard of Jacksonville,
Fla., were married July 20 at the
C. F. Winkenwerder home in Ken
newick. Judge Winkenwerder
performed the ceremony. Attend
ing the couple were Mr. and Mrs.
Nathan Bolieh. The couple will
make their home in Pasco.
