Central Fair Features
Famed Circus of Death
Perry ‘B. Woodall, president of
the board of directors of the Cen
tral Washington Fair association,
has announced the signing of the
spectacular ace, Lillard’s Circus
of Death. This is a world famous
show consisting of auto, motor
cycle and airplane stunt work.
Every conceivable type of crash
will be indulged in. Ramp work,
‘wall busting, the tunnel of fire,
and others. The crashes and stunts
will use approximately 25 piecest
of equipment. Stunts, will include
wing walking, picking a handker
chief from the ground while hang
ing from the landing gear of a
moving plane.
The Circus of Death hasjust re
turned from an eight day engage
ment in Honolulu where they
played to a capacity crowd of
over 30,000 people at each per
formance. Among other foreign
appearances have been Mexico,
Cuba, and practically every prov
ince in Canada. The show has
broken all attendance records at
the Louisiana, Minnesota and Al
,abama state fairs. 7
The fair will open September
24 and the show is scheduled for
Sunday, Sept. 28. The show will
include 30 different stunts in the
afternoon and 26 in the evening
of that day. The Circus of Death
will be exclusive in the state of
Washington at the Central Wash-
