Prosser Residenfs Visifors Af Wallula WALLULA. Sept. 29—Mr. and Mrs. Nate Bateman of Prosser drove down Sunday to visit at the 01in Mills home. Mrs. Bate man and Mrs. Mills are sisters. Their father, Mr. Montgomery, is also here from Prosser. J. W. Valls returned Saturday from a visit to Oklahoma. He was accompanied by his brother, George Vails from Pasco. They were gone two weeks, one week of the time J. W. Vails spent ill in bed. Mr. and Mrs. Crarey are ex. joying a visit with Mr. Clarey’s mother from Sisters, Oregon. Mr. and'Mrs. E. H. Kidwell and sons of Pasco and Mrs. Hender son of Walla Walla were visitors in Wallula Sunday. Bud and Vernon McCarty of Spray. Ore. were overnight visit ors at the H. R. Cummings home Wedneseday. E. He was appointed Monday in Franklin county superior court by Judge Orris Hamilton of Prosser. A suit was filed early this month by Mr. and Mrs. George Hayes, principal owners of the firm, asking a receiver be appointed and authorized to con tinue operating of the business. J. A. S.
